The Baur Foundation, Museum of Far Eastern Art, in Geneva, is seeking candidates for the following 80% position
CURATOR OF THE JAPANESE COLLECTIONS
of the museum, to start in this function on the 1st October 2026.
Applicants must possess an academic qualification attesting a thorough knowledge of the art and cultures of the Far East – principally Japan – and they must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in the fields of museum curatorship as well as exhibition preparation and organization.
French is the official working language, but an excellent knowledge of spoken and written English is required, and a good working knowledge of Japanese is desirable.
